Tesla Full Self-Driving Receives Global Regulatory Approval, 30-Country Rollout Planned

Tesla's FSD has cleared the safety thresholds in major markets and is set to roll out across thirty countries, the company said.

Tesla announced that its Full Self-Driving system has cleared the safety certifications required by the major regulators it has been negotiating with, paving the way for a thirty-country rollout that the company says will begin within weeks.

The certifications are not blanket — each market has its own constraints, and several require driver supervision in ways that match the existing US approach. But the headline is clear: regulators have signed off on the core technology.

For Tesla, the news re-anchors a bull thesis that has been wobbling. FSD revenue has been the part of the deck nobody wanted to model, because the rollout map kept slipping. With the certifications in hand, the company can finally point to a credible volume schedule.

For competitors, the message is sharper. Several legacy automakers and self-driving startups had been quietly betting that Tesla would stall on regulatory grounds. That bet did not work.
